Hi Russell!  Yes, I have used that in the past.  Now I take ground flaxseed every morning which is supposed to help.  It's mostly muscle soreness actually.  I either need to lift more weights...or quit working so hard on our new house.  :-)

Oh, and I just remembered that I take a liquid form of glucosamine/chondroitin, etc., thanks to a thread that was posted here several months ago about what we drink in the mornings. :- )

Practice is 99% a virtual thing for me; IOWs imagining playing piano, vox, horn, e. guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, etc.

Performing (church and pre-church) is about all the meager time I get for piano.  Guitar and vox ... I've reached my practice limit.  So I don't 'physically' practice them anymore ... at all.

OTOH: Warm-ups are a different story: the pre-performance things are vital and may last 10-30 minutes ... twice per week.

+1 per Jimmy and others with the guitar:  My Les Paul Robot (self-tuner) sits by my bed, always.  Song creation (not practice proper) oft gets *caugh* attempted there.

(IOWs, Sonar gets more *practice* than anything.)
