Read the help files about automation. Volume envelope is normally the way to go, but... I don't know if MC has slip fade function, which could be the easiest way if the loud part is in the very, very beginning of the clip, as you say.
Anyway, it's useful to read the whole help file/reference manual (I don't know if MC has the manual in pdf-format) through. Click every button and dropdown and read what the Help file has to say about it.
That way you get an idea of what can be done and what not, even though you, obviously, can not remember it all by one reading.
Also, it's very useful to put your system and soundcard specs in your signature, so you don't need to separately write them every time you ask a question.
