How to ACT "unlearn" a controller

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to do this. I'm certain there has to be.

I regularly use the t-bar on the vstudio to control some effect parameters using ACT. The thing is that I want ACT forget about that controller almost immediately after writing the automation.

Suggestions? I know this one is a low hanging fruit =).

Cheers

take focus off the plugin and then you can freely move the knobs without affecting that parameter

i have been trying to figure out how to do this also.  they only way i have gotten it to work is by learning it to another control or like hart said switching focus away from plug.  I have started using my lpd8 in this situation because i don't run it in ACT mode.  I learn control through the plug and then unlearn on the plug for random things i want to automate that my a500's not act learned to already.

See, that's weird. It seems to have "sticky" focus.

    Specific example:

I'm using my tbar to ACT control a Kore parameter, but after closing the plugin window and focusing on track view, the tbar still controls the Kore parameter.

I haven't tried reassigning it to a new instrument, I'll try that.
