How to assign tracks to "group" for batch editing

I have a song Im trying to edit the toms, as in cutting out all audio except the tom hits.  I can press control and the left corner to select all 4 tracks, then split, for instance.  But I have to do this over and over again.  Is there a way to permantly group these, so that everytime I split one clip in the group, all four clips will be split?

    Linked Clips.

Don't know much about them but it's all in the manual as well as in Scott Garrigus' Power book.

I notice in your signature you're on SONAR 8
You're in the wrong forum. You might find you get a better response from the other SONAR forum as it's done differently in SONAR X1.

JK, I think I figured something out, as long as those tracks are grouped, I can use the "smart" tool, think thats what it's called, to split all 4 clips at one, just have to toggle from one tool to the next to do any other kind of editing.

You could try putting the tracks in a track folder and edit the track folder clip instead of the tracks themselves.

PS: Or select the clips you want to edit, right click and choose "Create Selection Group from Selected Clips". Now they can be edited as a group.
