How to bounce track properly with sidechain plugins in track AND bus?

Hey all!

I can't properly bounce the output of a VST synth that I'm sidechain compressing in two different places:
  1. A compressor on the synth track itself (fed from sends from a couple of other audio tracks)
  2. A compressor in the bus that the VST is routed to (fed from a send from another audio track)
I succeed to bounce with the compression effect from the track plugins (#1) intact, but not with the compression from the plugin on the bus (#2). I've read the manual about selecting all sources that contribute, and I've tried selecting everything: tracks, sends and the bus, but I can't seem to get both compression sources in effect.

(I thought I'd get better at archiving my stuff, but it's so time-consuming!)

Grateful for any ideas!

Hi. Just a guess. Have you tried to bounce in real time?
    All the best.
