How to create a Reverse Cymbal effect and the same with a Chord from a guitar?

Hi all I hope you can help I have been asked to make a couple of crashes in a recording Reversed for instance like this here
http://www.freesound.org/...iewSingle.php?id=30938

I have also been asked to do it with one Chord that starts the begning of a song but I think I can get away with just using automation for the chord build up though

Any one know of a way to do this ? Do I need another program, Plugin , or is there a way I can do this in Sonar ?

Thanks for your time

there are commands that will reverse a snippet of a wavefile.

record your single cymbal hit on a separate track.
    same with the guitar.

select each one, and go to process, i believe....
slide the edited wave file wherever you need it to line up.

place a reverb on that chord/cymbal
bounce down to a new track
select that new clip and then reverse it..
it uses to be somewhere at "process" - "audio" - "reverse".. hm.. or right-click that clip and search from there.. sorry..
    edit.
    uoops too late..
yeah, the reverb might not even be necessary.. depends on how much "effect" you need.
