How to create bus automation connected with group tracks?

I've tried doing this in the past as well and it doesn't work as you would think.
are you trying to emulate a VCA ? you would be better of sending all these tracks outputs to the bus and automating just that bus. Because essentially its the same thing. Or possibly using an Aux track/patch point.

...The four connected track fader keep the set position and don't move. When manually  moving the bus fader, the grouped track fader react how it should.  Do i something wrong or is it in sonar not possible?

 
Can you better clarify the above?  You're saying that the track faders (grouped?) react how they should; that is, not moving, but then asked if you did something wrong.   FWIW, yes, if you're automating only the bus fader then the four track faders shouldn't move unless they also include automation.

what do you mean with VCA?
I already sending all these tracks to the bus and automated just that bus. That's the problem, it doesn't work.
With aux track or patch point i haven't tried as jet.
 
The only solution i found here in forum is, setting all 4 guitar tracks in write mode and record the automation by manually moving the bus volume fader. So i create 4 automation lines (in each guitar track one line) instead of one line on the bus. But it works.

VCA-Voltage control amplifier:
In a large–format analogue mixer, a VCA, or Voltage Controlled Amplifier, is a channel gain control that can be adjusted by varying a DC voltage on the control input. This makes it possible to 'move' a raft of faders together, maintaining any offsets within them, by moving a single control fader.
 
 
What I was referring to was you might be thinking one bus, if grouped to a bus fader will move all the track faders together and record all those tracks automation.
There may be a way to do that but when I have tried in the past, I have found it was not possibly. it only recorded one. however I might have missed something.
 
If the automation on the bus fader controlling the inputs, then why do you need to automate those tracks as well ?
I don't know maybe im missing something.
 
And for what its worth, im about to give you some great advise. look in to lane automation. it can be a bit slower sometimes but is pin point precision. I mean right down to the node (Dot). its also a lot easier in many ways. for years I simply grabbed a fader and put Sonar in Write mode and wiggled around. but about 5 years ago, I looked in to automating by hand using nodes.
its a great feature im sure you will love if you get used to it. because right now the only hand/realtime automating I do is track/bus sends. and even those are touched up after created.
