How to crossfade in Sonar X2

In Pro Tools and Studio One it is quick and easy to crossfade two clips (Vocal comping, fix pops and clicks etc.) but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to crossfade in Sonar X2.
I know you can drag one end of a clip across another clip and adjust the fades but that is really time consuming. Not sure if I am missing something or if X2 never had a quick crossfade feature.
Thanks for any insight.

In the track view select options/auto crossfade clips.

In Pro Tools I can just drag up from the bottom of two clips that are together and it will create a crossfade. Once I turn on the auto crossfade option in X2 how will I create the crossfade?

It does it automatically. You can achieve the same effect as pro tools if you're using overlaps in take lanes via the comping features.

You can do this in SONAR, but you have to show lanes and use the Comp tool (Smart tool used in the lower half of the clip). If you've split a clip, you'll get a crossfade tool when hovering over the split; clicking and dragging up will create and widen the crossfade.

It the two clips weren't created by splitting, you'll have to create an overlap by dragging one or both clips in order for the auto-crossfade to have something to work with.

Yes, and X3, but I missed that you're on X2. I think this showed up with the Comp tool in X3.  In X2 you might have to create the overlaps by manually slip-editing the boundaries or sliding clips as mentioned.
