How to disable the "Track Color bar" wrongly popping up the "Color Applet" on touch screen

I just upgraded to X3d, and have a Windows 8.1 touch screen used with a pointed stylus to avoid additional mouse carrying.

To better manage multiple tracks, I put them under "Track Folders".

Until X2, every thing were perfectly expanding/collapsing with touching "+" sign with stylus.
However, after X3d upgrade, the newly introduced "Track Color bar" pops up every time I stylus touch the "+" sign to expand track folder.
I tried every possible way to de-activate them, but was unsuccessful. It is very frustrating to drag mouse all the way to plus sign, accurately place over it and then click. All fun of Sonar X3 + touch display is lost.
Of course I mapped keyboard shortcut to do so, but then I have to carry keyboard.

Can't they have some way to de-activate those annoying color bars (at least temporarily) -- I can live without those dead colors on tracks, but cannot just carry mouse and keyboard after spending so much on expensive touch display and 8.1 capable CPUs.
