How to disable the ?? "auto-increasing" volume control?

On playback, when I click on a track's volume, and slide it right to increase, it automatically starts increasing itself.
???
If the track is not playing, it works normally.
???
...and, sometimes if you click on it, it sets itself to zero for ya.
???

I am not finding info on it as, I am not sure of the nomenclature.
I googled: "Cakewalk's Involuntary Volume Frustrator" to no avail.
How do I disable this?

Check volume envelope? Track could be reading some automation as it plays.

No automation happening. Good suggestion though.

    ok, got it!
With a few million more searches:
    "Volume Slider Jumping Mouse"
    I found a forum posting from 2014.
The solution was to set windows 10 Text display settings from 125% back to 100%.
    ...no more possesed sliders.
    ...but, lots more squinting.
