How to disable\enable new start screen

How to disable\enable new start screen

I really don't want it on all the time-sometimes, depending on what I am doing-it's in my way.
Sure it's simple...but I don't know.

    My suggestion is to disable it (in Preferences) and then key bind an easy key combination to call it up.

    Good idea--But I didn't see it in prefs? I'll look again Thanks. Key Binding is a good idea.....
