How to edit Audio track

Hi
Sorry I am back again asking questions in one audio track at the begining I have unwanted noise (me picking the Guitar up to play) now I can get rid of this in Audacity without any problem by inserting silence over the noise is there anything like this I can do in sonar le? I have tried looking at the help files but can not find anywhere about editing audio waveforms either by drawing straight lines with a tool so that the waveform is flat or as above by inserting silence. Be handy if le did this as it saves going back and forward between 2 programs.

Select the Split tool (looks like a little pair of scissors), split the track before where the song starts, turn off the Split tool, right-click the unwanted clip, select Edit>Delete, select some options in the Delete menu, and it's gone.
Easier method: select the track the clip is in, drag the cursor across the Timeline at the top so the section you want deleted goes gray, hit the Delete key on your computer keyboard.
