How to install PSYNII after the fact?

I don't know why but the last time I installed P5, I passed on all of the synths. I figured with Battery 3, Rapture, and DimPro, those are the ones I wanted to focus on. But now I'm thinking I might want to load PSYNII, if for no other reason than to work through the chapter on it in "Cakewalk Synthesizers".

So my question is: Is there any way to install PSYNII by itself, after already having installed P5? Thanks!

Re-insert the installation disk, and when you get to the Selected Components screen, uncheck everything, especially the application files. Under the DXi Synth Options, click and enable only the PSYNII checkbox.

Try not. Do or do not--there is no try.

If you look up the definition of "try" at the Merriam-Webster online dictionary (www.m-w.com), you will find 5 definitions for the word when used as a verb (and additional definitions when used as a noun). You appear to have assumed my usage was MW's definition #5 to "attempt". Instead, take a look at definition 2a "to put to test or trial <try one's luck> -- often used with out <try out a new method>". That was my intended usage of the word, since my experience has been that nothing is a sure bet when dealing with computer software
