How to know correct tempo of audio clip? (X1) EDITED question

Hello! I edited the question, as I solved part of it. 1. Do the imported wav files automatically adjust the tempo of the track? Lets say from 100 bpm into 125 as my project? I guess this should be able to be done as the "Preview at host tempo" setting in the mediabrowser plays back correctly? Or do I need to edit it later? Thanks

If the files are ACID Loops, Groove Clips or REX files, then they will automatically conform to the project tempo when imported.

If they are regular WAV files, they will not conform to the project tempo. To make them do so, you either need to convert them into Groove clips or use AudioSnap.
