How to know if supporting audio files no longer needed

Can I assume that all the audio .wav files in the supporting "audio" folder, within my saved song folder, are needed by the song?  In otherwords: once created, does Cakewalk effectively manage these and delete ones that are no longer needed (if I delete certain tracks within the .cwp song file?

If not, is there an easy/simple way to figure out which .wav files are still needed and delete the rest?

Thanks in advance for any help on this.  (I'm using sonar 8.5.3)

No, you cant assume that. You need to consolidae your audio and then do a save as. Please back up before doing things like this
