How to label audio clips?

I used to do this in previous versions. How do I label audio clips?

Thanks

Joe

Hey Joe - In track view select the clip you want to name, open the inspector (I), select the CLIP tab at the top of the Inspector and change the value in the Name box.

Hipatitis (n): Terminal coolness.

Is there a way to have recordings automatically named by the track name so we can keep a track of them ?

Sometimes, I copy a MIDI track to another instrument & I like to know where it came from originally

Not really automatically during or after the recording, but it's fast, once you decide to do this.

You're welcome!
Sonar is very powerful. Right now I explore its soft synths and find them very capable. Hope to make some video comparison/tutorial soon.

Thanks. We used to be able to click on the clip and simply name it.... While some things get easier, many others get more difficult.

Thanks again

Joe

I agree Joe. I am not sure why they changed that simple process to a more convoluted one.
