How to link Cakewalk ID to your BandLab Account

From Meng's announcement: "Having your obsolete Cakewalk ID linked to your BandLab Account ensures that we can verify your previous purchases, and any future upgrade or cross grade opportunities are available to you."
 
OK great. How do we do this?

    Use the email from your Cakewalk account when setting up a BandLab account.

    Use the email from your Cakewalk account when setting up a BandLab account.


    Are you sure that's all you need to do and the accounts will automatically be linked? I'd like to hear from BandLab.

    The accounts are not linked yet. Follow scooks directions and when Bandlab proceeds with the new forum and actually doing the merge you’ll be notified. If you choose not to you’ll no longer have access to your Cakkewalk account and the products contained there in.
    It’s been the subject of numerous threads and even emails.

    If you need confirmation from higher up , why come to a peer to peer forum.

    Because to date, it's been Bandlab's primary communication method. Apart from issues they are secretive about, I think they have been using the forum quite well for general issues.
