How to load a 44.1k project into a 48.0k and convert clips to 48.0k as it loads clips?

Hi guys!  As i recall, i think i have been able to load a project that was recorded at 44.1k into Sonar while running Sonar at 48.0k, and Sonar would convert each track from 44.1k to 48.0k while loading the project.  But now when i try it, it no longer converts and instead resets Sonar to 44.1k.  Is my memory faulty?  Will i have to import each clip and convert each clip (there are hundreds of clips in the project)?  any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm having trouble locating documentation on the subject, and i've tried a number of things to have Sonar convert automatically.  TIA.

Samplerate conversion works by dragging clips into a project in the new samplerate. I think you may need to have a single file at 48KHz in there just to be sure it stays at that. Then open the other project alongside, select all and drag them into the new project.

...and make sure the interface is set to 48 kHz, too.

One option (may not be the best, but probably the easiest) is to export the tracks in your 44.1 project as an OMF file. Then open that OMF file with SONAR. You get a dialog box that prompts you for title, sample rate, tempo etc.
Be sure before exporting that the tracks all have meaningful names. And also be aware that you will need to rebuild the mix.
It would be nice to have a simple method to change sample rates, but...
