How to make a plug in stay in veiw even when not selected ?

Ok so I'm demoing the Waves Dorrough Meters and they are proving very useful, but Sonar keep closing (hiding) the plugin down after I unselect it. Is there a way to make a plugin stay up front or on top while using the console or track view ?

It should stay in view unless it's a 32-bit plug being Bitbridged in SONAR x64. In that case it runs in a separate app window, and changing focus back to SONAR will send the plug-in GUI to the background.

The 3rd-party Jbridge solves this problem.

No dice ...as soon as I click a console fader, the plugin disappears. The track view works fine though. Any help ?

Sorry. Don't think I've ever seen a plug-in GUI behave differently in different views, and I don't think I've ever seen one close spontaneously, either. Sounds like it's not getting along with SONAR somehow.

If you are using dual monitors, plugins that are located on any other window besides the Track view will go behind the windows once you click them. This behavior annoys me to no end. I suggest sending in a feature request.

Ahhhh. So that's it. I was trying to follow this thread and not getting it... -- that's the behavior I'm having with two monitors as well. Yep, wish that was fixed. Is that a Windows thing, or Sonar X1?

Workaround: You can always get a 3rd monitor for plugins only.
