How to make samples and play them via keyboard (a-la Jacqueline)

You know on the Dim Pro (or Rapture....I can't remember which), how there are vocal samples ("Oooh" "Yeah", etc) from some lady named Jacqueline? How do I make something similar that I can play with my midi controller keyboard?

I'm assuming I can use vocal or any audio clip. I'm using Sonar Platinum.

Thanks!

~Jeff

With Dimension Pro, you can drag a wave file into an element.  Then Dimension Pro will use that wave as the source for the sound.

See the Dimension Pro help file under "Loading Samples"

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .
    PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)

If you intend to use the two synths you mentioned you will need to find a resource that explains the SFZ format. This is the one I have https://noisesculpture.com/cakewalk-synthesizers/  It has a very complete sfz format opcode listing in Appendix A.
