i got Vocodex hooked up to my Novation Nocturn and the Nocturn knobs can control the knobs on the Vocodex. i guess that's kind of midi

no talkin about playing the carrier note to be more precise ...with a midi keyboard (remote sl too !!)

wow. that would be cool, but it's giving me a headache just trying to wrap my mind around that one. if you ever figure it out, or if someone knows, PLEASE slide me the directions!

this excatly what i tried , the problem is that i include an fx , not a synth fx (seen by sonar as a synth , so it creates a routing possibility to that synth fx)
when i insert the fx , when i select the routing i don't have nothin that can be routed to that fx , while using pentagon , slayer or whatever , those are synth fx so , i have option to route to that synth ....i'm gonna try in the fx properties page if there's an option to consider it like an synth ..?

Ok just tried yesturday , just open the vst properties of the plugin and check "conisder as a synth"
then insert it on the audio track (in my case , lead vocal) ,( it's in the synth , not in the effects no more) create a midi track , and output it to the plugin , done !!

No just a midi track , and the note you play on will trigger the note of the vocoder (like a real all school vocoder)
I used to do that back in the dayz with my VS 1680 using the builtin effect vocoder triggered by sonar !!!
but now that i have it workin , it's not as good as advertised !! gotta tweak a little more to check ....
