In track view, hover the mouse pointer over a part of the track so that the pointer changes to an up and down arrow. Click on the left mouse button and simply drag the track to a new location and release the left mouse button.

I suggest you download the latest X2 Reference Guide

The hotspot for track movement is easy to find just left or right of the track name, although it is accesible elsewhere that's where I find it easiest from.

Once the cursor turns to a double headed arrrow click & drag.

    Hi Karl,

Yeah, that's what the manual says too, but I prefer grabbing the track between the input echo button and the meter level reading simply because it is a slightly larger area. The landing between the track number and track icon is quite small and my big fat fingers find that the up-down arrow will quickly come and go haha.
