How to mute all lanes on tracks marked for record?

So, yesterday, I was playing my guitar and recording the guitar sound direct, and the midi output of my gr20 and the synth audio left and right from my gr20. I wasn't using loop recording. Instead, when I got to the end of the song, I'd RTZ and do it again.

So, to do this, I had to expand each track and mute the last take. I had autozoom on, so I had to click each track and click mute on each take.

If I had a false start on the tune, I'd ctrl+z. for some reason, this would change the auto zoom and lane expansion (so I couldn't see the lanes).

Anyway, it was kinda pain. I considered using a track template and bringing in the track template for each take, but that would mean moving all FX and pro channel settings to busses and routing all the tracks to busses. Kind of a pain itself.

What I really wanted was a way to mute all lanes on all tracks selected for record without having to mute the tracks themselves.

Anyone know how to do this?

Here's what I was doing btw...

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.
