How to remove echo when recording thru vst FX
The manual's instructions are more for soundcards, so how do you do this for an outboard interface and still hear the vst FX? I use MOTU.

If I understand your question correctly try lowering the latency on your interface control panel. Or if I don't understand your question then the PDC (plugin delay compensation) button in the Control Bar may fix your problems.

Thanks. Resetting the latency all the way down helped tho there's still a very slight delay I can live with.
PDC button does nothing to help.

Wonderful. The PDC button should help with latency whilst mixing. If you're having issues with it.

Your hearing your round trip latency. We can detect anything over 5?ms. You can test your ASIO driver RTL with this little free tool
http://centrance.com/down...ent_instructions.shtml
sometimes if you lower your latency setting your system can become unstable so it's a crap shoot. You'll hear crackling and artifacts if so.

Oddly it crackles during PB but not so much noticeable during REC. I can switch it up a notch when I PB, no biggy.
