How to resurrect old DimPro tracks in new x64 8.5PE install?

I've recently upgraded from Sonar 8PE 32 bit to 8.5.3PE 64 bit.  If I create new DimPro x64 tracks, everything works great.  But when I bring up old projects containing DimPro 32 bit tracks, the old tracks are silent.

The only way I know how to deal with this is to insert a new DimPro x64 track, guess at which patch should be used, move the old MIDI clip to the new track, then delete the old track.  Since DimPro has around 2500 patches, it's pretty hard to find the right one.

Is there an easier way?  Ideally, I'd like to reroute the old synth track to point at DimPro x64 so I can retain whatever patch pointer it contains.

Any ideas?

Anyone upgraded to 64 bit Sonar and figured this out?

Are you saying the 32bit dim pro tracks load okay, but just no output? (Which seems weird, bitbridge should be handling all that.) If they load, you can see the settings, right? So you can see the dim pro patch name and just apply it to a new 64bit instance of dim pro, no? What am I missing?

If you mean you can't see the patch name because the 32bit dim pros don't come up at all, then--one thing is to load the project in 32bit, jot down in the project file info the names of the patches (save the project), then bring up the project in 64bit, load new dim pro tracks, apply the patches that are listed in file info and drag the midi data from the old non-working dim pro tracks to the new ones. Hassle factor, above average.

Or check with tech support as to why bitbridge is not doing what it's supposed to be doing.

Oh another thought, the two versions of dim pro might be confused about the location of the prog and multisample files. You might want to double check file locations against the registry settings for dim pro, both versions. Hassle factor, a pain, but you only have to check one time hopefully.

Personally, I have problems porting projects from 32bit to 64bit sometimes too. (Rapture generally moves much more easily, loads 32bits or 64bits automatically depending on the sonar version. Wish dim pro was that smart.) So I am trying to leave older project within 32bit sonar and only start new projects with 64bit. Switching between the two sonar versions only takes a few seconds. Hassle factor, slight. Encourages me to get those old projects done and archived, a plus.
