How to save Console View customizations

Simple questions: I have customized my Console View to show just the tracks I want in the way I want, but every time I open the project, it goes back to the default display in Console View. How do I save my Console View customizations with the project?

Unlock the current screenset, then lock it again, then save the project

    Thank you, that works!

(HORRIBLE design. How about, I don't know, a menu option labeled "Save Layout with Project"? Just sayin')

Also, forgot to mention, my track hiding isn't sticking. I will hide multiple tracks from Tack View, then when I re-open the project, those tracks are again displayed. This has gone on for many weeks.

Yeah, I find the whole track hide/unhide to be as buggy as hell, irrespective of where you launch it, TV or CV.

I basically needs a complete overhaul.

How true - the track manager and the lot needs a complete makeover.
Now it has one set if opening from console view - and one from track view.
Unclear what Inspector view opening is referring to - TV or CV, or last focus.
And sync checkbox, not sure it works at all.

It probably relates to screenset issues mentioned too.

I think the simple solution is a track manager that just has a list of tracks as track view - and then a column each for TV or CV - check where to visible. Reaper style basically, which also have some other columns for mute etc.

It's overcomplicated as it is now - and no overview really what is status.
And seems overcomplicated to devs too, TBH.
