How to save a midi clip?

Hey, I have a midi clip, I want to save it. Not as a MIDI groove clip, just a MIDI file. how do I save that clip into it's own MIDI file?  I've looked the manual but not seeing what I'm looking for.

Thanks
Rick

One thing worth knowing is that when you drag a MIDI file into the browser and then back into the clips pane, it loses its name (it does on my system anyway). So for example if I drag a clip named "Bass 1" into the browser, it's given a filename of "Bass 1" on the disk. However, when I drag that clip back into a track, it's named "Track 1" (regardless of the track I drag it into). This is weird, because if I drag a MIDI clip into Sonar that wasn't dragged from the clips pane (e.g. a commercial MIDI loop), it retains its proper name. Never been able to work this one out. It's as if Sonar knows that a MIDI clip was created within Sonar and says "Ha! I know you...therefore I'm going to forget your name."
