How to save custom Template to appear on quick start

Hey guys I made my own orchestra template and wanted to save it so it appears in the quick start screen? I deleted all the other ones cause I wont be using them.

I went save as and choose the name and save file type as template. Also saved it in the template Folder. It shows up on quick start buy it wont let me open. Any help would be great.

Choose save as/in the 'save as type' box, choose template/in 'go to folder' box, choose template files/then name your template.

I should mention that there is two ways to save a template...... the other is a little different. choose export/ to track template. This is to save groups of tracks to install quickly, instead of saving everything (tracks and busses, etc). After you export, you install by choosing insert/insert from track template.

Warning: this method does not save everything so be sure to not lose anything.

WHat happens when you try to load it? DO you select the "file type" when you do an OPEN?
OR, you can do FILE->NEW and choose the template from there (or have you tried that)?

    Oh, what version of Sonar?

oooooops... Also, you can change the default template folder by choosing option/global/folders tab/templates (not track templates). This helped me eliminate all the unneccessary stuff I did not want to scroll through. Just remember that Sonar will put a 'Normal' template in whatever folder you make.

Jeez, I guess I didn't read your whole thread....sorrry (that's what I get for not paying attention). Did you delete the Normal template? Maybe that's freaking it out a little.
