How to search for a Function as a Key Binding?

I can't seem to find how to search for a particular Function in Preference\Key Bindings.

Eg  Split at Now Time

Where do I enter "Split" in the Functions area to hit on "Split" functions?

No, there's no way to search. The only thing you can do is click in the Function list and then press the first letter of what you may be looking for to quickly scroll through the list.

One of the reasons I made the keybindings (keyboard shortcuts) into an ebook.  I can read and search them on my Kindle.  If you want a copy of the .mobi file it's described in more detail here

thanks for the link - do you have a link as a .doc, txt, .prn or html file - the mobi didn't convert properly when I tried these various formats.

Awesome RJN, thanks for that - I'm installing it as we speak. I also find it mindblowing that you can search by shortcut but not by function. Especially in a new version of the program where they've made massive changes to the keybindings.

No, sorry.  Although I started with an html version, I deleted it after using it to create the mobi file.  If you don't have a dedicated ebook reader, you could always use one of the "read on PC" apps (Kindle for PC, Mobopocket reader).
