How to set the now time to a transient marker?

I know a did this in SONAR 8.5, but I can't find it anymore............

I want to create a tempo map for a multitrack live recording.
I want the project's tempo to follow the live recording.
I use audiosnap on the track with the kick to set the tempo of the project.
After bar 8 the first beat of the kick doesn't sync with the first beat of the project.

I know I used to correct this by selecting the transient marker of the first beat of the kick in measure 9 and set the now time to 9:1:00.
Now I can't find this function anymore.

What changed? Where to look?

You can use set measure to beat but for project to follow tempo it's easier and quicker (IMHO) to edit the clip map.

    VIDEO here

Make sure you trim the clip and either apply trimming or bounce to clip before you start, that will help to avoid the dreaded "Tempo out of range message".

Shift+M was what I was looking. I believe this used to be in a menu, but somehow this disappeared?

The method in the video is of course better. That is what I am trying to achieve in the end. But I was unsuccesful trying this last night and ran into an errormessage, in spite of the fact that I did trim the clip.

I will look into this again tonight.
    Thanks.

Is it the "Tempo out of range" error? If so that is always caused by an errant transient detection or mapping somewhere. Usually at the start of the clip hence the trimming. Basically Sonar thinks it has to increase the tempo to over 1000 BPM to make the beats line up and you get that message as 1000 BPM is the max supported.

Another thing that will help to alleviate the error is making sure that the SOnar's guess at the average BPM in the clip map is more or less correct. If not select the correct one from the drop down options. Other tips that will help include manually lining up the first beat with a measure beat before starting the clip map process and setting the project tempo very roughly to the played tempo to start with.

When mapping go through and check there are no obvious beats missed or stray transients that aren't at least close to a clip map beat marker. All of those will help.

    I did it.
    Thanks
I did not mess with the tempos, but it's strange that the projects tempo is around 61,25, while audiosnap thinks is 18 and the real tempo of the song is around 122...

I guess the projects tempo was set earlier at 61,25 while I extracted to groove form audiosnap to do some midi replacement for the Kick.

I'm pretty shure I didn't set the the tempo at 61,25 myself
