How to set up SONAR X1 to work with "DAW Remote" on the iPhone?

I have the app called Daw Remote on my iPhone, which used to be only for Mac but now works on Windows. It's supposed to work for all DAWs that have Mackie Control support, which SONAR X1 does. Does anyone know how to set this up?

I tried going to Preferences > MIDI > Control Surfaces > Add > Mackie Control, but I don't know how to connect SONAR X1 to the app.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the help. I downloaded the rtpMIDI and was able to connect the "DAW Remote" app to the rtpMIDI program. Also, I went into SONAR X1 and followed the steps in the video, and added the Mackie Control with both the inputs and outputs set to the newly created session. However, whenever I open the DAW Remote app on my phone, it says it is waiting for a response from my DAW... and in SONAR, it is waiting for a response from the controller how do I make the two connect?
