How to slow down midi song

Hi.  I recorded a song in Midi format off my electronic keyboard.
Is there a way to slow the whole thing down now that I've captured all the midi data - or would I have to re-record it to change to slower tempo?

Thanks

Just type in a new tempo in the Transport section of the Control Bar.

Thanks.  I was hoping it was something simple like that, but I saw an old post on a Google search that made it look like changing tempo wouldn't fix things.  Maybe wasn't talking about midi.  Anyway, thanks again.  Worked great.

That's right. The tempo you're setting is the rate at which measures and beats go by relative to absolute time. MIDI follows M:B:T time, and audio normally follows absolute time. So MIDI follows a tempo change automatically while audio does not.

Just for reference, you can easily get audio to follow a tempo change by enabling the Autostretch mode of Audiosnap on it, but there's a limit to how much you can stretch audio without doing intolerable damage to the audio quality. All-MIDI projects like yours are much easier to deal with in this respect.
