How to submit a crash dump?

I suspect Cakewalk is sequestering before the hurricane, so this request is for anyone not in the path of Irene right now. I just finished a project for a client, but cannot export it. First time ever that I've had this issue. Also my first attempt after upgrading to X1c. I have three dump files. Where do I submit them? I am hoping to get this resolved soon as I have to get a CD to my client, and this is holding up our project. Thank you for your help, Todd

Just tried again a couple times, exporting both MP3's and WAV's, all are crashing X1c. This did not happen in prior versions. I have a screen shot which includes the task mgr, but not sure how to attach a JPG to a post. My PC was not taxed when these crashes occur.

Just made a few more attempts, this time with other projects. Everything exports fine except for my client's project. So, I definitely need to submit this crash report in hopes that Cakewalk can tell me why this specific project won't export.

    Hi Todd,

Sorry to hear this happened. You're not going to get any response from Cakewalk on the weekend I'm afraid, and even when you send in the dump, it's probably going to take several days at best. If it's that important you will probably have to call them on Monday.

What specific error's are you getting?

To attach a picture, you have to upload it to a file sharing site, then get a link to the file, press CTRL + G while your cursor is in the forum reply box or click on the 'Insert an Image' button at the top of the forum reply box and put the link to the pic in there.

    Good luck.

Thanks Bub, I found out what the problem was, and fixed it. I have a bus that had an output of -NONE- and I was not able to unselect it in the Source Buses/Tracks section of the Export Audio dialog box. I've had projects before with -NONE- buses and have exported with no problem. I'm wondering if this is an X1c bug, the inability to unselect it. I changed the bus to the master output and was able to export.

If you suspect it's a bug go to the problem reporter to report it and you'll be able to attach the dmp file when you submit the report.
