How to switch soft synths in the same track?

Hi,
I am running Sonar Platinum 2016.06 - x64.  I am trying to find a way to switch from one soft synth to another within the same MIDI track.  Is there a way to do this?  The reason is that I  bought some raw (plain wave files) handbell samples and the only way I can play them is to load them into CycloneDX1.  This works but, of course, none of Sonar's control messages work with these samples.  I found a work-around.  I made several instances of Cyclone, each for a different bell ringing mode, and assigned them to different tracks/channels, i.e.  "let-ring" to one synth/track/channel, "mute," "shake," etc to others.  This works but is awkward because the notes have to be on different tracks in order to be sent to different synths.  Is there a less awkward way to send notes on one track to different soft synths?  Thanks.

You can change the output of any midi track to point to any synth in the rack. - That is unless I misunderstand your question.

A drum map can route different notes on the same track to different synths or different instances of the same synth.

Thanks Scook.  Is it possible to set up a drum map to use other instruments than drums?

Yes, drum maps may be used with any synth. When using a drum map with synths other than drums consider enabling "Show Durations in Drum Grid" in the PRV Notes menu.

Thanks, I'll try that.  It sounds like it might work.

Hi Scook,
I tried the drum map approach and maybe I don't understand drum maps, but I don't think it will work after all.  Each one of my handbell "articulations" requires at least a full two octaves.  i.e.  let ring, swing, shake, damp mute.  These all require at least two octaves each, so they would overlap each other other on the drum map.  Thanks though.
