How to use Antares Auto-Tune /w Sonar 8?

Do you use it as a vst? How exactly does this application work with Sonar? Do you apply it real-time or as an after effect?

Also, whats the difference between all of the different Antares Auto tunes? (ex: EFX, EVO, and vocal studio)?

    You can't apply effects in realtime in Sonar.

    Yeah you use it as a VST. Just insert it into your FX slot. Make sure you put it before any delays or reverbs. I put it in the top slot unless I'm using a gate. EVO gives Autotune a GUI more like Melodyne's (better). I've got Autotune 5 and for me it sounds better than Melodyne (I've got both)

    I'm using Autotune Evo in Sonar 7 Studio edition. I thought that the tuner followed the clock from Sonar but when I made graphical mode corrections and then went back to play it using a different start point, all my effects weren't synced. Do I need to set something with the clock in Sonar?

    Dippindivin, I'd suppose you get more thorough info in the Antares site regarding the feature lists and manuals of the different versions.

    But yes, you use them mostly as a VST on monophonic tracks that have no FX.

    SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

    I have the Antares Auto Tune EFX.  I had asked about it's use, on here, and the suggestions (which I have taken) were to use the Auto Tune by itself and then bounce the track (to a new track) and then do whatever else you want to do or add to track. 

    I don't delete the original track (with the Antares) after I do the bounce.  I mute the track and keep it, "just in case".

    I have sonar LE and I am trying to figure out how to make the auto tune pull up I have completed all downloads
