How to use fader automation

How can I link the faders on 2 different tracks so that as one fader is brought up, the linked fader will be pulled down. I want to be able to exchange one sound for another, in a live application.

Assign the two faders to a group. Then call up the group manager and set the parameters as follows:

When you pull one fader up to 0 VU, the other will go down all the way and vice-versa.

If this isn't enough detail, circle back.

Auto-crossfades! That is very cool. I am continually amazed that there really is a way to do most anything. Cakewalk being one of the oldest kids on the block certainly has us advantages:)

Cakewalk has wanted me to do this for years...you're right, I should. Short, simple videos that show how to do something...
