This is all I wanted to know:

    Why ‘toast notifications’?
They pop up. Like toast. That is all.

    Duh. I'm so slow sometimes.

Nice blog post!  Very slick feature!

Noel, if not already available, a "bug fix blog/list" for X3 would be greatly appreciated!

X3 looks nice, but it would be nice to know if it contains all the maintenance never implemented for X2.  X3 has a lot of new and improved goodies, but bug fixes have been #1 on many users' lists for a long time.

    Cheers!

I like toast. Even better if we can choose butter or jelly.  I spend time in Second Life doing performances. In their software you can choose things like how long they last, transparency etc. .  What a great idea though to not force action!

    Good question.

Something with panache would be sublime!

Like it?!  I love it... Finally, SONAR now has the "hit song generator" feature we have been aching for for so long.  Now we can all stop stressing over our work and just relax.

Surely, SONAR X3 does it all!  Applause, Applause, Applause.  Look out Gaga!

Oddly I have toast notifications turned off in Group policy, but the VST scan toast still shows up.

Very cool little feature. Reminds me of playing xbox and gaining an achievement- we just need that cool little sound that accompanies the notification now :)

I think this is a game changer. I wonder how many have thought Sonar has locked up when in fact its a hidden dialog box waiting to receive a click?

Thanks for posting, Noel, ole buddy ole pal. :)

I was wondering what happened to BenStat after you all got him back during the X1 days.

I'm glad to see he's being put to some use.

Hiya BenStat! I'm still loving your SONAR Plus and still using it with X1.

Cheer up fellows. I will be getting X3 by January 2014. Lot's of good stuff I'm missing (some implemented in X2...Like the auto track zoom and animated keyboard in the PRV.), so I will be getting X3. Looks like the only thing I'll be missing out on is the SONAR R-Mix, cause I will be upgrading to X3 Producer. :) Can hardly wait!

Take care fellows. I'll see you around. :)
