How's this 64bit DAW look?

I started this new thread as the other one was getting a bit long.

Before I pull the trigger on these, I'd like to know what you all think.
Any additions/deletions/substitutions/comments/advice/recommendations would be sincerely appreciated.

Mobo - ASUS_P8Z68
CPU - i7-2600K
OS Drive - SSD-Corsair_90GB
RAM - Mushkin-16GB (DDR3)
HDD - Hitachi_2TB (I have an additional 1TB Seagate HDD at home)
Computer Case - Cooler_Master-Full_Tower
Power Supply - Corsair-650W
CPU Cooler - Noctua_NH-C14
DVD Burner - Lite-ON
OS OEM - Win7Pro 64-bit

Edit: Also thinking of using this Razer mouse with X1. It has 17 programmable buttons and this would greatly help in not using the keyboard as much.

    Looks fine...
I'd choose a different motherboard, different RAM, and a different CPU cooler... but that's me.

    Hi John...it's SATA III

    Hi Jim,
Do you mean different MOBO as in manufacturer or different model?

I wasn't sure on the RAM and couldn't figure out why the big price difference was from 1 maker to another. So I went with the lower pricing. My priority is stability and performance (even if it costs a bit more).

In general, could you please recommend some manufacturers (as in Gigabyte, Noctua, Corsair etc...) that make stable/solid performance hardware (in reference to the ones you'd choose differently)?

As a hobbyist, I'm hoping this will be my (ultimate) DAW for sometime...
Thanks and I truly appreciate the input.

I've got the i7-2600 in my DAW...it's a nice processor for the money and rates fairly high in benchmarking tests:

    It works great for me...

    How about these instead:

    Mobo - ASUS-Sabertooth-P67

    RAM - Crucial-DDR3-PC3-10600

    CPU Cooler - Thermaltake_Frio_Overclocking-Ready-i7

HDD - Hitachi_2TB (I have an additional 1TB Seagate HDD at home)
If you are using more than one HDD, the system drive doesn't need to be large.  My main drive is a WD VelociRaptor 150GB, and it's more than sufficient, even for a multi-boot system.  However I don't recommend this model now, as the current price is ridiculous.

    Hi Kev,
My OS drive is actually going to be a SSD 90GB drive (maybe slightly bigger (120GB))....(I listed it in the original post). I'm going to add 2 big TB HDD's (1 for samples and the other for X1 projects), but need to buy 1 HDD for this build.

The Hitachi 2TB is going for $199.00 and was the least expensive.....were you thinking this was a 2TB SSD? (If so, that would probably be more than my whole sys.....yeah...ridiculous!!)

Is it this the mobo that you have? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131770
    Also Bapu, do you overclock?

I was also checking out the Sabertooth (see the link above) which has some very "rugged" features that are compatible with the Sandy Bridge i7's.
