It is not on the monthly special page. The monthly special $149 price was discontinued during this sale. It is on the X2 Extras page. With the 20% discount it is cheaper than the previous $149 special by a few bucks.

Just for something new, I was going to pick up a cheap package of presets. I was looking at the Xenos stuff for Z3ta+2. I mean 10 bucks is not a big risk. For fun I went to the Xenos website, the patches are on sale there to for $5.25. Now that was a deal. I can actually see using some of them too.

Thanks Scook -  good to know. Some of the Xenos stuff is pretty good. Good value for sure.

I failed to mention the Xenos preset packs also include z3ta+ classic versions too, for those that don't have z3ta+2. They were so cheap I bought all four.

I upgraded my z3ta, cost $212...    Without all my credit cards, the wallet did not hurt too much when it bounced off my head.

Quick question: Do the items not marked as "download" only get send by mail or are they downloadable too? For example Film Score: Rapture Expansion Pack by Digital Sound Factory. I live in Europe and don't want to pay high import costs.

I do not have the Film Score Expansion Pack but I believe it is a download and here is why. I added it to a shopping cart and it does not ask for a ship to address, other items that I know have to be shipped require a ship to address. When checking out, it does not add shipping costs. All items that physically have to be shipped add shipping costs. That leads me to the conclusion that the item you are look at is download only. If that is not enough, you could contact Cakewalk directly http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2153831

I picked up the hollywood effects. Not worth $59, considering I have better effects available to me. i just liked the idea of having a convenient set of basic effects that I can trigger from my keyboard

I just downloaded AAS Strum Acoustic Session a few minutes ago for $20. Very nice!!! I was able to get good fingerpicking arpeggios as well as decent strumming. If I could only bring my MIDI controller and DAW with me on my next camping trip I'd be able to play folk songs around the campfire. :) Now I know why they're selling it for $20. It's a great program and I have no criticism of it. But the session version disable several feature. I'm almost ready to pay for the upgrade to the full version.

a MAJOR two thumbs-up for C. Anderton's X1 videos. I should have bought them a long time ago!!

Guys, If you're brand new SONAR users (and aspiring sound engineers) you should most definitely have a look at those vids ASAP. I'ts gonna save yourselves a lot of "ear fatigue"...     :-)

It's a little bit late now for this comment because the sale is over, (I should have started another thread instead?) but these vids are worth every cents!

Anderton's videos are definitely worth it, even at full price. There are so many little tricks in there.

Brilliant, even if you are on X2.

Just grabbed them too - a bargain for £8, thanks for the recommendation!

I picked up the Dimension Pro in depth video over the weekend - same Scottish chap who did the 'Rapture in depth' one and also the SWA Complete X2 series which was half price.  Pretty happy with them.
