Humbly submitting "She's Up" for criticism

Hi All,
It's been a while since I've been on the forum, but I wanted to get some feedback from people who really care about songwriting and production. The link goes to YouTube for easy access, so please choose the HD version for best sound quality. All constructive criticism regarding songwriting, performance and production are highly appreciated!

Thanks,

I like this Paul, a bright and breezy song with a really good, simple hook - they're not easy to write. The vocals in the verses are a little indistinct, maybe a little automation needed to make them ride above the music. I like your guitar work too, perfect for the song.

    Nice song.

Small crit: Vocals could come up or the music could come down. But it might just be an EQ situation. Hard to say.

Paul, I missed this first time around.  A terrific poppy song -- hook is catchy.  Your vocals are very good as is the song's arrangement.   The only nit is that the vocal and the center of the soundscape in general needs to be opened up -- whether via eq, panning or levels.  I enjoyed the listen. -- Allan

Lead voc is too load in Verse 1. Could use some reverb.
    Background vocs are too soft.
    Lead guitar sounds good.
Try playing this back at really low volume and check your mix. You might hear what I am talking about.
