Just replayed the hi-res WAV file of this song that Daryl was so nice to let me have.

Excellent! Absolutely worth a few relistens.

Now back to the SoundCloud version to see if the low end from the timpani-like drums is the same.

Ciao for now!

I can't believe that I missed this.  I like this better that the original, and that's how you do a cover song.  Way to go FP!

Creative cover!  I loved the vocals and yes, Scotty, sounds like another fiddler, and a good one.  Well, ya can't have enough people fiddlin around.   I did get a distortion blast when the bottom kicked in.  I had to turn down my earphone volume, and quick.  That's ok, you can never have enough bottom.  It is a pleasant listen. Nice work by all!

It is 2.5 years old! I just felt like listening to it again. Here's the original Duran Duran version.

Went out for lunch yesterday. While I was in the middle of my sammy, guess what came over the PA? Yup. The original by Duran Duran. I couldn't believe how much less I liked it than the Fizzy version. Had to come home and cleanse my audio palette by playing the HD version Daryl gave me.

My first listen and I am blown away.  So different than Duran Duran's original.  It amazes me how someone can hear a song and envision a completely different arrangement.

The lead vocalist sings with attitude and the backing vocals are perky which in this case is a good thing.

The arrangement is superb; can't say that enough.

One complaint, the song is not available for download.
