Huttoft
If you're a big city there's a good chance there's been a song written about you at some point in time. But what if you're a little backwater country village in the middle of nowhere?? Back in the 1980's such an honour was bestowed on the quiet village of Huttoft, deep in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside by esteemed local band Arthurs Wheelbarrow. Here for your enjoyment is the long lost video that accompanied said masterpiece. One day, all videos will be made this way... btw, I was not in the band. Not many people admit in public that they even heard of the band. I was however in another band with the singer, Taurean Lovesavage, (aka Sean) and still drink with him on an irregular basis.

I think the Houghton Weavers were full of songs of small Lancashire towns. I had to endure an entire youth full of that stuff when my parents had control of the stereo.

I drove through Winslow back in the 80's. Sadly, didn't have a photo op. If I remember correctly some idiot was tail-gating me and I couldn't pull over.

There's a small town about 20 miles from where I live called "Boring" (in Oregon). I'm guessing it won't be sung about anytime soon though... I've never been there, but here's a pic of me passing the exit which is probably just as exciting: A Boring picture
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!
