Hydra
https://soundcloud.com/orygun/hydraI'm using Arturia Lab 2 and the Tangerine Dream sound pack for the instrument, mostly in the background track. It probably sounds too much like TD despite all my knob tweaking. The lead instrument is from Arturia CS-80. I also used Zebra and good ol' Omnisphere. Thanks for listening.

I like this piece even though it's not very long, it's still long enough to elevate my mood. I'm a real sucker for nostalgic synths, and this filled a void in my listening today. Keep up the good work, Bjorn.

I love the atmosphere in this. Nice open and spacey. I wish I could get my hands on Omnisphere. That's one awesome program, but the price tag is too steep for me right now. Also, I wish I had the patience to put together a song like this because I love ambient stuff. Seems like a lot of work. You do it well. John B.

The lead instrument reminded me of so much yet I can't say exactly what. That's the greatest part of this piece. Nice mix. I don't know a lot about this genre but it seems the only think lacking (to my ears) is some big bottom.

Lynn I could have made it longer because one section kept suggesting another section. But I'd been in my man cave for way too long, so I'd been told. Thanks for the comment. JohnBee Thank you! Yeah, ambient can be difficult because there are really long stretches that you need to listen to in order to progress to another section. Over and over. Andy Thanks again. I'm liking the Arturia stuff Rik Thanks so much. Appreciate it. Bapu The lead instrument reminds me of a couple of early Klaus Schulze albums (but probably not for you ) Kind of gives me the feeling of visiting a strange cold world. Something like that. Thanks for the comment.

Had a suspenseful feel to it. Could be a soundtrack to a thriller.

Oooh... might be my favorites from you, Bjorn. It's got a strong vibe from start to finish, with a nice slow build-up, and the combination of synth tones is very effective.
