Hypothyroidism or Hyperthyroidism

I went with Hypothyroidism.

I have hypothyroidism - Since I was 15 years old.

I was sleeping all the time and my mother took me to the doc to find out why.


I felt ok ...so I thought.....

I thought i always just needed more sleep


Turns out my thyroid doesn't  work.


and what a difference it made after about a month on medication

THEN i realized - yeah - I didn't feel to good before.

If I miss my medicine ...over a few days I ll feel lethargic and fall into depression -

I take .20mg synthroid

and ,05 synthroid -

cuz I need .25 and they dont make those so I gotta take 2 pills every day

also  - don't let bozo's tell you that THEY are fat because THEY have a thyroid problem -

yes thyroid controls metabolism - but its still calorie intake V.S what you burn off - if your lethargic you dont burn calories so don't eat more than you burn -

if your hyper active and have a fast metabolism - same thing  - you need more food cus you burn a lot

I have a thyroid that basically doesn't work - and when I see someone over weight say " I have a thyroid problem" - it pisses me off -

no -- you eat too much -- like the rest of any one else who eats too much -


anyway -

I deal with mine on a daily basis and get blood work done every three months to check if I need to increase of decrease my meds
