I DID IT!!!

Man, I'm psyched!! I finally ordered BFD3! I also ordered the Maag EQ4 plugin after hearing all the great reviews. Merry Christmas to me! Of course, my wife still insists on making me wait till Christmas Day to install it. Sweetwater is less than 2 hours away, so it'll get here tomorrow. Man, it's gonna be a long 8 days!

Leadfoot . . . I've been thinking of doing the upgrade from BFD2 to BFD3, it looks to be a great improvement to an already great product !
So, report back and let us know how you like it. I will probably do the online download, 'cause I'm cheap, but 38 GB, need to find some time, perhaps
on Christmas eve while everybody's sleeping.

Cakewalk by Bandlab, Cubase, RME Babyface Pro, Intel i7 3770K @3.5Ghz, Asus P8Z77-VPro/Thunderbolt, 32GB DDR3 RAM, GeForce GTX 660 Ti, 250 GB OS SSD, 2TB HDD samples, Win 10 Pro 64 bit, backed up by Macrium Reflect, Novation Impulse 61 Midi Key Controller, Tannoy Active Near Field Monitors, Guitars by Vantage, Gibson, Yamaki and Ovation.

Leadfoot - I'd get permission from the missus to install before Christmas -
So if you encounter any problems you can sort them out and have a fun Christmas day.

    Enjoy

I have been watching the Groove 3 BDF3 explained video. I recommend it because BFD 3 is complex, it saves a lot of time.

    Intel i7 3770K @4.4GHz, 32GB RAM, 240GB SSD System disk, 2 x 2TB and 1 x 1TB (with SSD Cache) HDD. Windows 10,  Sonar Platinum. Roland Quad Capture.

Perhaps your wife will let you install the demo until Christmas day then you can install the full thing
The installation process is a little complex and the download version have caused problems for some people.
Did you get the demo ?

Congrats Leadfoot...you're going to love it!!! (and the Maag)

I used to live 15 minutes from Sweetwater in Columbia City, IN...drove by it
everyday on the way to work in Fort Wayne.  Of course the temptation was
ALWAYS there to stop and play...but I resisted...most of the time...LOL

So hope you enjoy the new toys!!!

@noynekker - I'll definitely let you know! I don't blame you for going the download route. The only internet I have is my phone, so I need the memory stick route.

    @ godino - That's a good idea. I'll have to work on her a little. :)

@ Glyn - Thank you for pointing that out. I'm gonna need all the help I can get!

@ twaddle - Yep! Got the demo installed and been messing with it for a few days. I wanted to make sure it was as cool as people were saying it was! :) The demo will get me by till Christmas.

Thanks guys, and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!!

Hi Larry! I know right where that is. I'm in South Bend. I don't get that way too often but it's definitely tempting when I do drive by there. :) Thanks Larry, and Merry Christmas to you!!!

BFD3 is superb. I think its the very best drum synth you can get. I would recommend getting the beta its stable and it fixes some bugs.Merry Christmas indeed!
