I DON'T GET THIS !

Last week I get a upgrade card from CakeWalk telling me ( You qualify for a Special loyal Customer Upgrades ) Hurry offer ends on July 29th !
Upgrade one is Sonar X1 Studio for $49.00
Upgrade two is Sonar X1 Producer for $99.00

When I go on to my account in the e-store I see upgrades for me starting at 179.00 for Sonar X1 Studio and for Sonar X1 Producer $399.00 .
Maybe this card they sent me is my special offer price instead of the prices shown under my account , I'm not sure what to think about upgrading now to Sonar X1 .

Anyone else have any suggestion or know anything about the mail offer I received from CakeWalk , theres a big difference in upgrade prices when I look under my account under upgrading to Sonar X1 .

I think I might have to call them on the phone , what do you think?

Wow I guess I do get the special prices listed on my card , I looked on the special web site page shown on the card sent to me .

Sorry I guess these prices do apply to me , whats the difference from the download and the disk version  .
When I download my product can I put that download on a disk so I don't have to redownload it again or do you have to download everytime you end up redoing windows or buy a new computer ?

When one is better the download version of Sonar X1 or buying in a box version that includes a disk ?

Did you get a discount code / promo code with the $49/$99 offer? It's not unusual to see the normal prices listed and have the discounted price be applied at checkout. I'd go through the checkout process and see what the final summary says. If it shows the full price, don't click on the last "Finish" button and give them a call or send them an email.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I personally would want the disks, on off chance that sometimes a download can be corrupted. If they have the option of downloading AND getting  the disks then I'd be happy. Microsoft products can be purchased that way. I downloaded Office 2010 and then paid an extra $20 to have the disk mailed to me. I have it now but will probably never open the package.
If your handy at these things the downloaded file can be kept as a back up file, no need to burn the disk any more, I use virtual clone drive to load the programs that require a DVD or CD.
I copy ( rip) all my software disks and just keep them in back up drives. I'm always scared they will get scratched or misplaced. Those buggers are worth a lot of money so I keep them safe this way.

Thanks I'll have to figure all that out , the card doesn't have any discount code/Promo code .
I think they send you a link for that , I'm not 100% sure I need to go back and check that out again .
Right now I'm trying to figure out what I need to do first and then next week when I'm ready to order atlease I will know what I need to do .
    Thanks for the help !

I just hope after you down load the product you can save it on a data disk .
The download is about 5GB or more I think , I myself perfer buying a box disk but for $99.00 for Sonar X1 Producer I might chance it and download it .
I'm still trying to decide if I want to go with the studio version . Does anyone know if the Studio version has Dimension LE in it ?
Your right about protecting your disk , I keep my locked up in a special metal cabnet .
