I Felt The Sun Upon My Face (My February 2017 Song)

I'm not sure where the lyric to this song came from, could be love gone wrong. Any way, It's written like it's a love song, but I think it's more about how I felt in the past about any thing that got my hopes up, only to have the rug pulled from under my feet. Being in the people business, it's not hard to have that happen more times than not. Or, it may be about 50% of the  time, So it seems.

Hello Terry, I haven't been on here in a long while. Just been dealing with life and issues and good and bad times like everyone else I guess you could say.

I am not any critic worth any value other than being a listener when it comes to hearing others music, and I often wonder about what people are asking for someone to say when sharing their songs on these forums.

I'm no mix master, that's for sure. As a listener, I really like the synths you mixed in with this. They made it more than just a one beat song and added a dream to the beat.

I enjoyed hearing this, and especially the synths, that little bit of change up to hear in the song while subtle was really great in the overall sound of the song.

Those are my thoughts. You have a great voice and some really great solid songwriting skills! I wish I could have a sound that would resonate consistently the way that you do with yours, and by that I mean "When you hear it, you know it is TERRY's Music, not anybody else's".  That's a great commodity to have.

Thanks for sharing this one, if you ever want to collaborate with a song then let me know, it would be fun to do so.

    Great song my friend!

Nice composition bro, I'd like the drums to cut through just a tiny bit more. Particularly the snare.

Terry, this is one of my favorite songs from you!  Your productions just keep getting better, but I agree with twisted6s idea about turning the drums up in the mix.  I think that'll make this a stellar production, and this song is worth the effort.  Hoping for a Cubs-Royals world series this year!

    All the best,

Good song and vocal performance.    Agree with above regarding drums.   I might also pull up that lower synth a little bit more.
