Hello all. When ever i hear this song it reminds of when i was little. Always liked it and thought i'd have some fun with it. Wow... nice and clean...

I like it... Jim Croce.... I had a club owner's wife tell me she thought I looked like Jimmy in my younger days and she wanted me to learn Time in a Bottle...... I never did.

No crits at all on this... singing is really well done.

Thanks Guitar. Someone has asked me to learn "Operator." Havent gotten around to that one yet. Jim Croce was pretty cool. He had a right hand man that was quite a guitar player. Cant recall his name atm. Thanks again.

This is really nice - love your voice.

My only critique is that it sounds to me like you have too much delay on your guitar.

    Nice playing - nice singing.

I used to do this :-)

Cool, Jim had some good songs. I want to hear the guitar better, and it's finger picked? Is yours on the keys?

Hello CLEAN. Thanks. I just sang the lead and mixed the rest. There's 3 acoustic gtr tracks, so the interaction between them may give the impression of delay, but there is no delay on the any of them. A bit of verb on the lead track. Thanks again.

I like the bass. Is it played? Or sampled? Either way, it sounds good. I'm thinking it's sampled because it's perfect :-) People always think my stuff is sampled because it's perfect? Especially BAPU... But it's played :-D (he's pi$$ed at me though, I say? "TAKE A NUMBER! LOL!")

Hi Band19. As i mentioned above, there's 3 guitar tracks- a main rythm strummed, a lead/lick track finger picked and strummed, and another 'support' track that backs up the rythm and lead. These tracks are all downloaded stems that i import into Sonar then overdub some vocal tracks and usually mix just one with the rest of tracks. Sometimes, well, all the time, i have to work with what i get, and the mix is sometimes not necessarily what i prefer. In this case, the drums are a stereo stem and the kick is very up front which makes the mix mix cater to the punch of it. Thanks again.

This is fantastic!  If you're gonna do more of his, Time in a Bottle isn't a bad one either. :)
    Great voice!  Thanks!

    Nice job on the singing.

Ive never tried downloading stems and mixing up a song like that but sounds good.

Very nice vocal performance.  The mix is so smooth that is could fool a lot of people into thinking this was original if the song wasn't so well known.  I haven't heard this song in a while, so thanks for sharing.

Thanks Lynn. I'll look into Time In A Bottle. If i feel i can pull it off, would you consider playing a piano part on it? The addition of a piano could sound really great. --- Thanks digi2ns. It's a lot of fun and good practice. --- Thank you Lynn. Something special about this song. Jim Croce wrote a gem. Glad you liked it.
