I Got a Brief Mention From Tascam

Hello fellow SONARites,

I just wanted to share that Tascam did an article on Camp Jam (one of my jobs) because they are an official sponsor and we use their gear.

As the National Recording Director for Camp Jam, I was interviewed by Tascam in which a few small quotes appear in the article. I am also the happy recipient of a US 20X20 from this partnership.

I am hoping to get SONAR to be the official DAW for Camp Jam as well.

The article is here http://www.tascam.com/general/TIA_05

I just noticed that some of the quotes were mixed up between Steve Freeman and myself, but that's ok. It's still pretty cool.

I know Steve.  That is interesting as we had discussions about the recording classes held in Atlanta and gauging my interest in teaching.  I was only interested in teaching using Sonar (I won't mention what they are currently using).

I was actually asked to be a videographer for them, but have a full time job that prevented the tour.

Thank you, it was most excellent to talking with you too, truly. Rich upstairs in the KRK booth blew me away with the new lineup coming soon. Events like AES is total geekdom for an audio nerd like me. I loved every minute of it. I hung out a little with Craig Anderton too, checking out his workshop on amp Sims. Excited about the future of SONAR.
