I Install Sonar X1D Professional

Greetings, Please forgive my bad English. Recently I buy Sonar X1 with compatible D extension. We follow installation directions carefully. When installed I create many errors when during plugin extension scanner. These software was formatted professional way with all authentic purchase keys. However, I see screen freeze during program load when plugin scan still remain. My classmate tells me that improper "bitbridge" error makes problem and to seek forum consultation. He is video game code maker says "scripting errors" are problem. What does this mean? Do I need new installation? Why do we do quickfix remove then do installation again could not this be one complete package function? Anyone in New School to help me? I exchange for piano lessons in style of Errol Garner and Bill Evans. Vlad

What version of Sonar X1 are you using?  Are you using the enhanced version? I ask because that has a unique installation process for X1d.

A good thing to do here is to limit your VST scan directory to just the Cakewalk/VSTPlugins directory to start with.

To make sure the vst scanner is scanning the default plug-ins successfully first.

Then set up another folder to be scanned then gradually add your VST's to that folder making sure there are no items that are causing the scanner to hang, each time.

That way you can re-introduce all your plug-ins and eliminate any that are causing problems being scanned.

This is particularly important when you are scanning plug-in folder that contains 32 bit plug-ins when using a 64 bit version of Sonar as that is where errors in the bit-bridged plug-ins could cause a hang.

To that end I have a folder especially for 32 plug-ins that are to be used via bit-bridge.  It keeps everything organized and makes it easier to find where the problem is when this kind of thing happens.

it sounds like you may have some plug ins  either in the wrong folder or your scanning the wrong directorys..i need a little more info though first..like  have you installed any third party plug ins?..have you added any extra folders to your vst scan?

We use Waves programs. They are 32bit from most popular mercury bundle. No problem there is when using Cubase software. He says right here next to me there cannot use Waves plugins until they scan properly. They are in 32bit plugin folder in correct location. I tried to fix the problem according with Jonbouy. Then Sonar takes long time to do nothing but a froze screen. I am very thanks that other members help me. In addition I get help from translation software that makes me sound diminished intelligence!
